Changing the Meaning of “Luxury” – One Cabana at a Time

When you think of lounging poolside at the luxury resort you booked months ago, you’re probably not thinking about flimsy plastic chairs. You’re definitely daydreaming about a cozy cabana with a margarita in hand, am I right? Back in the day, lounging poolside meant laying in uncomfortable chairs and getting splashed by every person that jumped in the pool.

But this is 2017…

And hotels actually get it now. Four- and five-star hotels are adapting to the new meaning of luxury travel. They understand that guests want to feel completely disconnected from reality when they’re on vacation and that they want to leave their responsibilities behind, entering an alternate universe where the only thing they have to worry about is applying enough sunscreen. Cabanas are their ticket into this care-free world of Plasma TVs, plush furnishings, complimentary Wifi, stocked refrigerators, and at night — bottle service with the perfect party vibe.

ShadeFLA specializes in designing these luxury cabanas for high-end hotels. Our most recent project at The Loews Miami Beach Hotel included 3 adult-only cabanas and 8 regular cabanas.

Our cabanas even made it on the Today Show with Martha Stewart and world-renowned chefs at the South Beach Food and Wine Festival!

ShadeFLA has also designed and installed the cabanas at 1 Hotel South Beach, Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Beach Surfside, SLS South Beach and The Mile Coral Gables.
