Bright Design Ideas are Made in the Shade

If there’s a year that is deserving of new beginnings, it’s unequivocally 2020. We might all be eager to leave last year behind and look ahead, but the ShadeFLA team would be remiss if we didn’t share two great recently completed projects.

Eataly Dallas

Eataly, the Italian marketplace that combines restaurant sit down service, counter service, retail, and a cooking school, recently opened a location in Dallas. ShadeFLA was brought in to install a Renson Camargue Louvered Roof. This stylish covering features the latest and most advanced technology. Equipped with a motorized system, the roof blades can rotate up to 150° or retract.

545 Wyn

Developer Sterling Bay recently completed 545 Wyn, Wynwood’s largest Class A office building. In addition to office space, the 10-story building will have a host of amenities, shared spaces, and an ample open-air terrace. ShadeFLA had the pleasure of working with Gensler, a design and architecture firm, on the open air terrace. The rooftop terrace features aesthetically pleasing and functional tension sails. The premium-quality fabric we use for our sails block the sun’s UVA and UVB rays but still allow air to flow through.

The pandemic might have made sitting outside a necessity, but designing outdoor spaces at restaurants, hotels, and multi-functional buildings will always be a good investment. They give patrons options, enhance guests’ experiences, and improve the bottom line. If you want to integrate cabanas, umbrellas, a louvered roof system, or any other shaded luxury elements to your outdoor spaces, call us or Facebook message us!

The ShadeFLA team of shade experts, architects, designers, and installers always willing to help you deliver a top-notch end product.
