THREE TOP TRENDS FROM BISNOW SOUTH FLORIDA’S ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN SUMMIT.

November 22, 2022

We were thrilled to participate in the South Florida Architecture & Design Summit last month! This important event brings together the region’s leading architects, engineers, developers, and design professionals to discuss the latest trends and developments in architecture and design.

South Florida is home to a variety of architectural styles, from Art Deco to Mediterranean Revival. And with the growth of the region’s population and economy, there is an ever-increasing demand for new and innovative designs. Here are three trends worth watching.

One of the most exciting developments discussed was an effort to add amenities for caretakers at healthcare facilities, especially outdoor spaces. These can be used for anything from relaxation and reflection to exercise and recreation. The benefits of outdoor spaces are well documented, and they can significantly impact the health and well-being of patients and employees.

Another trend gaining momentum is the focus on bringing in the outdoors. Some standard methods include using large windows or doors to let in natural light and fresh air, using outdoor furniture and decor, and planting trees and shrubs to create a natural environment. This trend is driven by the benefits of natural light and fresh air.

Of course, there can’t be a summit on trends without discussing technology. Technology is changing the way we live, work, and play. And it is also changing the way we build and design. Architects and engineers are using new technologies to create more efficient and sustainable buildings. They are also using new tools to communicate their designs to clients and contractors.

It’s an exciting time to be a part of this industry. The ShadeFLA team came away with so many new ideas and innovative solutions, and we’re excited to share them with you.
